Improve your working knowledge of anatomy as it relates to movement with this reference package. You will learn proper body alignment principles and techniques. By teaching yourself, your students or your clients, you can prevent needless pain and injury!

This package consists of a 170 page manual and a 25-minute video. The package has been accepted by Yoga Alliance, Yoga association of Alberta, NHPC, CMMOTA, MTAA, CRMTA, FGNA,  and Alberta Sports Medicine Council. Numerous universities such as Stanford, North Western, Texas Women's and George Washington have adopted this information kit. It has even been utilized by movement disciplines such as acting, Feldenkrais, Yoga and Tai Chi.

The Introduction to Life Anatomy Manual was written by Sherry Ogg and contains eight modules. Each module describes the position and movement of key body parts. These parts include joints, spine, pelvis, muscles, knees, legs, ribs, and shoulders. Each module concludes with Dr. Sweigard's method for neuro-muscular re-education. This method uses imagery to correct posture and alignment.

The Anatomy and Injury Prevention for Dancers video was produced by the Grant MacEwan College Dance Program. It illustrates each movement in detail. A life-size moveable skeleton mirrors a live model wearing an anatomically-correct muscle suit.
